Welcome to the website of VanAusdall Law Office where we offer law and mediation with a woman’s touch!  What does this mean to our clients?  It means an approach to legal representation that is not only based on legal expertise, but on a true understanding of who our clients are and what their legal needs entail.  It means handling a case with the compassion of a friend, the guidance of a mother, and the strength of an advocate!  We understand that the average person is often scared and confused by the legal system and that it is important to have an attorney that you can talk to and that you can trust. 

We are a general practice law firm located in Pekin, Illinois.  Our primary practice areas are family law, criminal law, wills and trusts, and civil litigation.

Roni S. VanAusdall, esq. received her Juris Doctorate and Legislative Practice Certificate from Drake University School of Law in 2003, where she graduated on the Dean’s List.  She has been a licensed Illinois attorney since 2003.  She began her career as an Assistant State’s Attorney and was the main attorney in the Juvenile Law Division.  She has been an Assistant City Attorney for several municipalities, has worked as an intern for 2 Iowa Senators, has worked as a registered lobbyist, and she has been a certified mediator since 2002.  She has been a certified family law mediator (pursuant to Supreme Court 900 series rules) in the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Illinois since 2008.
